I love the color of the limited edition of Jacques Herbin Shogun Ink by Kenzo Takada et K3. It is a calm dark-brown, twilight-coloured shimmering ink, reminiscent of a beautiful starry night. The fine red and gold, copper glittering reflections add a touch of luxury to this ink. It is so smooth and glitters are fine enough so it is suitable for fountain pen, pilot parallel pen and dip pen.

This is a treat to myself to some jewel-like ink from this shimmery and artist selection!

The twilight-colored Shogun ink was developed to honour and in memory of Kenzo Takada 高田賢三 , who is recognized as one of the most famous creators and fashion designers in the world. His recognizable style combines multicultural inspirations with a distinct Japanese touch, such as incorporating Japanese floral, jungle and animal prints for European tastes in fashion designs. K三 pronounced ‘K-3’ printed on the ink box, is another new luxury home and lifestyle brand founded by this world renowned Japanese designer. He died from complications from COVID in France. The illustration of a man dressed in a suit on the ink package should be Tokugawa Yoshinobu德川慶喜, the shogun of the Meiji Restoration era.
